Torquay in trouble

I remember going away there one stormy midweek game and we lost 3-0. I think the roof had blown off of their stand. Can't remember the year though...
Was that the game when some Blues fans gave the TUFC keeper some stick...and the keeper seemed like he wanted to fight them during the game. The keeper lost the plot

Not a big poster on here, long time lurker.

I read about the state of Torquay on the BBC this morning, and brought back all the horrible feelings of what we were going through before Justin turned up. If you go back through their fan forum they said some nice things for us at the time. While a couple of them were kinda hoping we dropped a league as it would benefit them, the vast majority just saw football fans hurting and wanted the best for us.

Anyway. If you feel moved to any degree, their supporters trust have a bucket collection here https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/torquay-united-supporters-trust---donations-page#start

and there is an official one on the club website, although that feels weird giving to the actual club that could be going into admin. https://torquayunited.com/donate-to-tuafc/

The 10-point deduction makes no odds to them at this stage of the season. They won't go up, and they won't go down. If the league wanted an impact, it should have been at the next available season, so they start from behind like Southend did. A much bigger test of mental strength.
