DoDTS, I remember the Workington game like yesterday, 2-2, Johnny Mack with both goals, and a pick-up game before the
game on a field adjacent to the ground involving 40 aside SUFC supporters and then two weeks later going to Halifax, Phil Chisnall scoring practically in the last minute, I think giving Halifax their first home defeat for ages, being chased from the ground, and being besieged in the coaches, as they say they were the days, entertaining football and lots of goals! and yes Workington and Halifax (The Shay - the Speedway track) were both crap grounds!
