Today's Ref

Deadman has always been a crap ref though so are we surprised. Right up there in the top 2 or 3 worst refs in the league.

One classic moment in the 2nd half summed it up. Walker went down by the dugout and the ref gave a throw, despite the linesman, who was far closer, actually mouthing to him it was a free kick. Then when Bailey asked for an explanation, the lino shrugged his shoulders and said "it was a free kick". Good old Mr Deadman ignored him though.

I was telling my boss at work today because always the ref is wrong. ANd as usual he didn't believe untill I got the chance to explain to him how bad he was.

I told him that a "neutral" fan like him (hes a wet spammer!) that they would be disappointed with him over some of the decisions, ie: not giving us a penalty, not givinng us a free kick just outside the area and then giving northampton a free kick in exactly the same place for them he just didn't have a clue!
