Todays Game...

Be careful, you normally get flamed for throwing statistics in the way. I've been saying this all season, though he has been much better over the last few weeks.

Getting caught offside so often is extremely frustrating. Maybe some of them have been a bit harsh but most of them are spot on. The most annoying thing is that he doesn't need the extra yard or two. Though he is not the fastest defenders still have to turn and he's got the strength and momentum.

The REALLY annoying thing is that if he'd been in the positions Foran was in during the second half yesterday we wouldn't all be doom and gloom merchants today. But you can't leave a man out with his class. A smidgeon more curl on that shot out of next to nothing in the first half and we'd have been 2-0 and almost certainly out of sight.

Other than leaving his shooting boots at home Foran put in a couple of very dangerous crosses yesterday. Not one forward in sight. :(

Erm ORM. The statistics relate to Bradders not Fredy! If your'e using the term "he doesn't need the extra yard or two" about Bradbury I think the marbles have definitely gone! :thump:

As for

Quite frankly Pete I don't think Eastwood looks up for it either. His mind doesn't seem on it. He is either three yards ahead of play (does he ever look to see if he is onside?) or three yards behind. I have always thought he was a confidence player and at the moment he doesn't seem to have any. If things he does fail to come off he very quickly seems to lose heart. Maybe it is his personal problems but if so perhaps they should be sorted quickly. Remember he became disheartened and gave up football before.

Steve, I don't disagree with you, but to admit that would be tantamount to saying we have no strike force at all, thereby assuming automatic relegation. Fredy's lack of a footballing brain regarding things such as on/offside etc shows why a top team will probably never take a risk on him. I particularly hate the way he lags behind play when (say) JCR breaks at speed, waiting for a ball he can hit in from 25 yards rather than getting in the box where good strikers would be.

As for assuming automatic relegation. Never admit it! I might be missing the next 2 away games ............................. Oh, and watching the Cull Ewe game on satellite in a bar in Crete. Well, it seemed like a good idea in December when we were 97 points adrift at the bottom to go away for Easter!

Want a South Upper ticket?

Ummmmmmm oops :p - shhhhhhhhh, no-one else has noticed. :D :D

And I'm not admitting anything - just pointing out how the next game (for me) is the measure of our survival (or not) in this division.
