I can't believe that EE is writing these stories about Steve Lovell being on the way out. Do they have something against him? He is probably our best striker when he is fit and is a contry mile better than Mackie (who only plays when he needs a contract). Best of luck to Brewster but i will hold judgement on the others till the transfer window slams shut.

If this move happens then Jimmy must go. Dobie may be an international player - but was it not just a couple of pretty poor sub appearances under Bertie Vogts??? Lovell is best striker by far. Calderwood must go - he's a joke. Get rid of him now before it gets any worse as Richie Byrne will be back getting a game soon if Jimmy stays.
Mike, Aberdeen
Jimmy can get the hell out of Pittodrie as well if he thinks replacing Steve Lovell with Scott Dobie is a move that will improve the team. Lovell is the best stirker at the club by a mile. Time up Jimmy - no one likes you - please leave!
Steve, Aberdeen
If that is true about Lovell getting axed then you better pack your bags to JC. You have never given him a decent run in the team to show any consistency. Instead you persist with Darren Mackie, who has proved time and time again that he is not up to the job. Yes he can run fast but so can a dog - the only difference being a dog could control the ball better and might occasionally put one into the back of the net. Would really make sense to get rid of two strikers and bring one in!!!
Ice, Aberdeen
Good spot that . how the devil did you manage to find that then ??
Scotland wasn't an SPL striker though, loz :p
A mate of mine is a Don's fan. Apparently he's not likely to score hat-fulls..
i was more interested in the letter written into the echo where a director was moaning at the players during Saturdays game. name and shame the director i say.
I'm in East Reds and toward the end of the game i saw Tilly turned round and was having a real ding-dong argument with a punter behind him.
Tilly looked pretty damn angry i can tell you.
Anybody on here know what this director said?
where I used to sit in the east greens it would have been easy to identify who the director was. Come on you lot spill the beans.
I was in the East Greens, the fella had blond(ish) hair, fresh sun tan and had a blue shirt with white collars and cuffs to show off the fact. Def wasnt Mr Van Wezel before anyone asks. Geoffrey King saw it and walked down the exit with a look of "oh ****, the sh!t has hit the fan" as you could see Tilly telling him to shut it and call him an "effing banker" at the end of the game. My first thoughts was it was a Millwall Director
