As I said the other day, I've been told that we're definitely in for Riordan. I was initially sceptical as surely someone bigger than us would be in for him but that story has got me thinking again.

Nice to see us in for some decent young players too. Sahar & Campbell are both promising players. I don't think Man United are letting any of their youngsters out on loan this season though and I think Chelsea have some sort of deal in place with QPR to send some of their youngsters there.

We've tried to get a couple in on loan as well - Fraizer Campbell from Manchester United and Ben Sahar from Chelsea - but we were turned down both times.

I'd have said that we're probably a bigger club than most of the SPL and even Aberdeen couldn't compete with the money we could offer Stevie Hammell last year.

Obviously it's a different story with Celtic or Rangers.

I think Riordan wants to go to Leicester but the deal looks like it won't happen now.
