But football is so much a confidence game. We were regaining our confidence, playing and matching good teams. Then Duguid robs us of our chance of beating his team, takes our two most consistent players out for the Barnsley match and or course confidence hits rock bottom again. Bloody right I think that Duguid has put paid to any lingering chance we had of survival.

If he hadn't done what he did, and we had gone on to beat Col U (speculation I know, but we were playing well) do you honestly think that we would have put in the sort of performances that we have on Tuesday and today? Duguid didn't get us down here, but he sure as hell has played a massive part in keeping us down here.

so we beat man utd we are playing spurs in the next round

the championship is our bread and butter and even though it
does not look good i still think in the back of mind we can
escape

that is keeping me going - if not ill be here next season in the
south upper still supporting the boys unlike some supporters
who will throw in towel and find something else to keep them amused on saturday - shopping with missus - etc etc

I'll be there with you, just like I have for the past 25 years, and with my misssus (as she's a seaso too and shouts louder than me!!!).

However, today I felt numb just like many others posting on here as our performance lacked direction. I fail to see even with the whole stadium singing how we could have turned it around as it's the player's technical ability not the crowd's voiciferous ability that's the problem at the moment.

Tilson has had it. He has now been found out, the team are not playing for him.

Against Man U. they showed what they can do, they did not need the manager behind them, they relaxed and played for themselves.

Those who say if Martin brings in a new manager they could not do better. I think that they could not do worse.

If I was the chairman, with future investment in a new ground complex I would protect my investment. Tilly would not get another game. Martin is a businessman first and foremost, I think he will act very soon.

We cannot live in the past.

People fail to realise that really we are a league 1 club. It is very difficult with limited funds and resources. We wont be cut out for the championship until we get the new stadium. Lets be realistic, at the moment we are punching above our weight when you look at some of the fees that have been paid for transfers in the Championship this season.

I don't understand where all the Wiggy-bashers are coming from. Why can't he state her opinion about Tilson, even if it is one that the "I want to f%&k Tilly" brigade don't like?

Personally I think that Tilson should should keep his job because when (and it is a "when" now) we get relegated I think he could be the right man to take us back up again. Also I can't really see any available manager with our limited funds being able to prevent relegation, therefore stability is preferable.

However if he keeps failing to motivate his team and allows them to chuck 2 years hard work down the drain, I can totally see why certain fans want him out.

I think that is bordering on the personal, especially after what Tilly has achieved. But "Spineless" is a spiteful and personal slur, and completely uncalled for.
