It was. I locked it initially based on the thread that Stevie-Triple-G's pulled out. KingKev then PM'd me genuinely to ask why and then realised that the other thread was his brother.

Back on topic. :) People always want the manager out when things are going well, there were some calling for Tilly's head early last season too. Turned out we did pretty well then!

Looking forward to attending my first league match of 08/09 on Oct 18th, very weird not been able to go!

It just goes to show how fickle some fans are. It has always been the small minority calling for him to go, most of us realize he is the greatest manager in the clubs history and we shouldn't just get rid of him because we lose a fewgames. Thankfully Ron Martin is of the same opinion as well.

We have had many managers for whom "mediocre" would be high praise, but we have had very good managers too, and I think Tilson is the best of the lot so far - by no means is he just "slightly less mediocre".
