Well, after the legends sudden reappearance on the board, it is clear as bloody daylight that Stan loves this club, and given the chance would give his all, on or off the pitch..

So should Ron and Tilly get in touch to get things rolling...

I vote a massive 'Hell Yeah'..

That's not the question for me in my opinion...

The question for me is - What would STAN do?!

Hang up? Instant yes without even discussing financial terms?!!

I would say its the biggest no brainer in football history but as Stan seems not keen then maybe not.....

I agree with you mate, I also have a hunch that Sir Stanley might, just might, give it some serious thought if any approach was made?!

Ok,i will put it one more different way.I do not want to be considered to play for or talk to any club until i am 100 per cent fit.So until the magic number is reached we really dont have anything else to add to this,do we.....ahem.

Yes, there is more to add, because you could do some coaching at Southend while improving your fitness. Then when your fitness was right you would be all set up to play a couple of games in a squad where you knew the players, rather than a squad where you were starting from new.

Point taken Stan, some of us will still keep wishing though...

Any ideas how far you are from full fitness Stan?

To be honest Stan mate even before all the intense physical training you've clearly done recently you'd STILL have been fitter than Michael Ricketts

Think where ever Stan goes, there will need to be a trial spell so he can prove his fitness is and, given the reputation he has to burden, his desire are both up to scratch.

Stan, I'd welcome you back. However you are physically able to perform, I'm 100% confident you'd give 100% for Southend United.

Stan Collymore If you need a place to regain fitness, then I'm sure Tilly n Brush would only be too happy to help you out.

Said yes.

With ricketts gone and failing to live up to our hopes we need a lift from somewhere.

Dont know if Stan would still be able to deliver (his confidence to do so is a good sign) but it would certainly make the season more interesting.

Like said above, we were looking forward to Ricketts getting fit and it looks more liekly than Stan would be fitter than him already!

Was watching the "Collymore Collection" last night - the goals just seem to get better and better every time you watch it!!!
