What has everyone got against this TTK bloke.

he came on a discussion board and put his view accross. While most people don't agree with it (me included) there's no need to hound the guy off the board.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion!

Yep everyone is entitled to an opinion and differing opinions are part and parcel of football.

TTK however only has bad things to say, directly after a loss. You never hear from him at any other time.

Over the past couple of years everytime we are in a tough spot he jumps on slags the club and team off and normally goes well over the top.

TTK will not be looked at as the new FM13, based on performances so far (not just Saturday) it has been obvious to me that we are a decent side that needs to find our feet. People like TTK however are so narrow minded they judge the entire performance of our team and management staff on 4 games. One was against Orient where a dodgy red card lost the game, one against leeds, the favourites away, and Brighton where we were easily the better time. We had also beaten Chesterfield and Watford during that time so winning 3 and losing 3.

People like TTK need to stop knee jerk reacting to each game, look at the bigger picture and get a little perspective.

We are a decent League one side, thats acceptable for a club this size. Whilst we should be looking to do well a play off spot would be a good achievement, Championship football is something to aim for, not expect.

I have corrected your deliberate error ..;)

I agree with Southender it seems that anone that posts anything controversial is hounded off the boards by everyone including the mods.

I did not agree with TTK's post but could see where he was coming from. I have posted what has been seen as negative comments about Tilly and the team and believe that they have been justified.

I believe that with SZ if you do not agree with the general opinion you can be hounded off the boards. Surey the mods should be encouraging open and even controversial debate as this makes the boards more interesting!!

I was unable to go on Saterday but by reading various reports the teams performance seems encouraging. Nothing would make me happier than for Tilson to prove me wrong and for us to have a good season.

UP THE BLUES!!!!!!!!!

I'm afraid I'll have to disgree with you here. A lot of people hold similar opinions on here but with a relatively large membership this is to be expected.
There are plenty of people who have controversial opinions - it's just the ones who do not express themselves in an eloquent way (i.e. we're sh!t Tilly out) or those that refuse to acknowledge when they are wrong that are hounded by other posters.

Excellent, I had to put that in to make sure people do read my posts.

Good work. Yes it was definitely Chelmsford we played, not Charlton.

Hold on, no one is hounding anyone off these boards.

If someone like TTK posts what 99% of people consider to be nonsense they will let him know. Thats right to reply, not hounding.

Theres a reason TTK has the lowest reputation on this forum, because very few agree with his comments.

No one has said he shouldnt make them though.

Opinion can be void if not considered from both sides.

That's all i have to say about TTk's posts really in spite of him seeing like a good lad (any regular in the pub, I'm sure would agree)

Still no sign of TTK he clearly only comes on here when we lose, lets hope we have a long unbeaten run and he won't be on here for a very long time.

We could win 10 in a row, but if we then had two dodgy peformances in a row he would jump straight back on here.

Is TTK the new FM13. everyone used to have a pop at him until he stopped posting and many of his views were right as i recall - especially about average attendances which everyone shot him down for

give the guy a break and chill out

have a group hug or something
I know it's pathetic, Leon Clarke wins the game for us in 3 quality bits of play, credit to Tilson, he brought him here, gotta get one right now and again. As for the win that everyone is wetting themselves about, we beat a very poor Southend reject eleven, the defence looked just as bad, Collis will never come off his line, worse than Flavs and although Harrold is giving it plenty in the Drewe mould he aint gonna score any more than 7 a season unless we play Wakering every week. So exitables, put back on yer Pampers and get over it, if Clarke is here long term and puts it in every week then top half is possible, without him back to the odd midfielder scoring one!

did you miss Collis claiming a cross about level with the penalty spot (admittedly, after Clarke f-ed it up) in the middle of the 1st half, not to mention actually talking to the defence? and Harrold actually shrugging off a defender and then beating him for pace? I admit that Gillingham were a pretty woeful side but surely it's only fair to acknowledge the improvements in our all-round game.. whether they'll be sustained or not, we can't say yet.

Yep defence looked awful, hence Gillingham having all of one shot !?!

Gilbert and Clarke admittedly looked shaky at times but Richards and Barrett had good games.

Leon Clarke did play a big part in the win, but we were all over them when he went off as well hitting the bar and crossbar. He must have some influence to do that from the bench. Ever thought we needed a spark to get the team to show the ability it has ?

Collis hasnt done anything so far that Flahavan wouldnt have for me.

He hasnt dealt with one corner in the two games Ive seen which is exactly the situation that Flahavan is criticised for. He did claim a cross against Gillingham but there were crosses against Daggers he didnt (plus almost dropped one under the bar).

Thats not to say Collis isnt a decent keeper but I think that people were putting to much emphasis on Flahavan's ability or inability to deal with set pieces etc when the teams defending was more to blame.

The quality was more the running off the ball from midfield, which is what Luke Guttridge did for us when Tilson took us up as champions. You'll no doubt fail to acknowledge Guttridge's efforts in the championship winning side, and instead cite his p*ss-poor attitude and work-rate in the championship.

Gillingham were atrocious but you can only beat what is in front of you. Richards solidifies the defence, and there is less need for extravagant shot-stopping when you talk to your defence and leave your line when necessary.

BTW Harrold scored 9 goals in this division last time when he was with Yeovil but its a team game, and the team with Harrold in is scoring goals. Sixteen goals from our opening 8 games is the most since 1990/91.

I would agree with that. The Clarke-Barrett partnership was our biggest problem (although literally a small problem) but at the same time, Flahavan wasn't helping either.

Theres a great stat.

Yet people still complain because our strikers arent scoring.

If we had held onto our 2-1 lead against Brighton we would be in the playoffs so we arent a million miles off being where we should be.

First time that you have ever agreed with me, and you know what, it wasn't my post, it was a quote from Jam Man and i messed it up!
