This could be a case of play to your audience, and for that reason the Harry Potter collection (all 7 - it's 1 story)
Bugger, that's what I would have chosen. Most of my other choices would be poo-pooed on here by a vastly male dominated reader base!
TKAMB would have been my first choice too ( and MK , don't be in any rush to see the film. Although Gregory Peck is superb , it is a pale shadow of the book , which is best read outside on a very hot summers day IMO ).
As it's been taken , I will choose The Bible by various artists.
Battle of the illegal fighting dog breeds.
My pick would be "The Lord of the Rings" by JRR Tolkein
but if that's not allowed (due to being 3 books in 1), I'll nominate my son's favourite bedtime book "The Gruffalo" by Julia Donaldson
And if you don't it sounds pretty boring. I would pick something else mate you won't win with than one. It's a 'can't put it down' book if you like Greek fictional history and you feel like you were there.

Good point.Yeah, thanks for the advice, but I'm a SUFC supporter, and on that basis it's the taking part that is important not the winning!!
