Tilson thwarted on second signing

Bromley Blue

On the OS now they've got an article about Tilson missing out on a second player. Guesses anyone? I'll go for Darren Currie

I have it on good authority that it was Ronaldo.

My source didn't confirm whether it was the porky, buck-toothed ex-Real striker or the cheating, crying, still-stuck-in-Steven-Hammell's-pocket winger.

May of been mentioned somewhere else but that lot from Birdbrane Road had a 6 figure fee accepted for Hayes yesterday only for the player to fail to agree personal terms, so i doubt it would've been him

I believe it was Graham Shankville, a slight centre-forward from Chortley Wanderers, who had been linked with us once before in 1985. If I remember correctly, Shankville was on the verge of signing a two-and-a-half year contract with the Shrimpers when the deal fell through on account that he only had one leg. I guess he must have worked at his game over the past two decades ...

It was me but i failed the medical.......

hence i'm now available to play for my original club this weekend!:fart:

It doesnt matter who it was - same old frigging sob story from Tilly...

better than, "we put in a monster bid for an ordinary player who's signed but we're paying him more than the rest of the squad with money we don't have. The other players are now well ****ed off. Mind you I'd do anything to keep the whingers happy". :)

Now that really would be great management.

Strange how most other clubs manage to get players in. Tilly always goes on about 'only getting players that will improve the team', then brings in Harrold and Paynter - neither of whom are better than Gray IMO...

Dont care what anyone says - to let so many players go and get 1 in is madness, end of.

actually there's not been a great deal of movement. Clubs with more money than sense like West Ham have gone mad but most have been sensible. Just like us.

In season 2033/34 in my championship manager game one of my youth players came through by the name of Paul Stanley, real quality striker.

I heard Steve Tilson spent the day on my single best friend dot com trying to match up Steve Stanley with athletic looking women from Essex in the hope that he could sign a pre birth agreement with them that young Paul (2nd born) would sign for us.

THERE IS STILL A LOAN MARKET PEOPLE. WE CAN USE THAT IN A WEEKS TIME. IM SURE TILLY WILL HAVE SOMETHING SORTED THEN.
(Using caps for effect by the way)
