Whether the moron who posted this thing is serious or being ironic I dont know.

Two points I would like to make though are;

1) The strength of shrimperzone is of the intelligence / wit / sublety of the posters. Yes there is some banter which as an outsider I still find amusing at times, and there is a lot of good thoughtful posts. However the kind of mindless drivel posted whether meant in jest or not, sadly misses the mark, and is out of place here. There are other message boards for people like that (Im guessing teenager with new found internet access posting drivel in between looking for naughty pictures).

2) Its widely recognised that maybe not Tilson himself, but people connected with the club read the message boards to keep an eye on fans thoughts. If these kind of messages, whether serious or not, come to our excellent management duo's attention, its hardly going to help pursuade them to stay when Charton or Bolton or the like come knocking.

I personally would like to have seen the other rascists threads started by these morons so we can see what kind of people they are....

There are limits to freedom of speech , and blatant racist slurs have no part , both morally and legally, on this board.
I played a game in the early hours of this morning with Casual Shrimper and Destination Championship ,they kept posting completely stupid posts and I kept deleting them and in the end I decided to leave a few posts ,including this one , for people to judge these people for themselves.

People will have different opinions on everything and that is the point of the message board , we really only like to delete posts that are offensive in content or could libel the poster and ourselves liable to legal actions.

Yeah sorry, wasnt criticising you for deleting them, as in truth a bit of 'quality control' is needed.....was just saying if people are capably of making such posts (rascist etc) then any they post about Southend should be taken with a pinch of salt
