Tilly eyeing championship midfielder

The hotbed of football gossip "The London Lite" reckoned we were going for the Portsmouth midfielder Jean Francois-Christophe on loan - Echo mention him but doesn't say if we are interested.

The hotbed of football gossip "The London Lite" reckoned we were going for the Portsmouth midfielder Jean Francois-Christophe on loan - Echo mention him but doesn't say if we are interested.

We had him on trial last week, not heard any mention really to indicate what they thought.

Jean-Francois Christophe (born 27 June 1987 in Creil, France) is a French football player that Portsmouth football club bought from French club RC Lens in the summer transfer window of 2007.[1].
He has operated in midfield and defence for Bournemouth[2] and Portsmouth reserves, with his best position as a defensive midfielder. He had recently been loaned out to League 1 side, Yeovil FC.
"He is a big lad, about 6ft 2ins, and looks to play more of a holding role," the Glovers' assistant manager Steve Thompson told the Western Daily Press.
"Having a big midfielder is good for defending set pieces and attacking set pieces," he added.

aah a loan signing wouldnt it be lovely if we actually signed some players of our own sometime soon
No chance. Did anyone really expect Ron to release funds to actually buy someone, well i didnt. Think this is a hang on season, and do the best we can, with a limited amount of money, lets hope it works.
