Tilly eyeing championship midfielder

At least the knock wasn't a concussion though after that elbow he took to the face. I'm sure he'll be fit for Saturday, if they follow the same pattern as last season they didn't release any information if he wasn't expected to play.

Hopefully a CREATIVE midfielder, who will lay on some chances for our strikers to put away!

Was slowly tapping a post on the 'new signings' thread with this info.......beat me to it!
Very much what I expected, will be interesting to see whether this could turn into a permanent move or is just a fill in until January. I am certain that Tilly has been 'doing his nut' over the last week or so. He knows exactly what he needs ......but knowing the players you require and landing them is something altogether different. Anyway, I would expect, at least, another couple of loan signings before the window closes. I think that the cash is there to replace Bailey but if there is nothing immediately available at a reasonable fee......the loan market is our only option

Why would he prefer Carlisle to Southend unless he wants to stay up in a Northern slum?!

Yeah, big boys Carlisle, why the **** does them being interested mean he wouldn't come to us. Does anyone "choose" to go to Carlisle, I see it more as a punishment.

Southend would be surely closer to Coventry than Carlisle is. And I doubt they pay much more than we do.

He was on loan at St Mirren last season so I don't think the travelling or moving is an issue.
