Its questionable whether that constitutes news.....

FWIW my opinion is Gower must start.

No Gower would be a serious set back, even an unfit out of form MG gives us much better shape and options.

I think HKB's point was that he's been struggling for fitness, or appears to be, for some time.

I agree as well. He's looked short of fitness recently and don't imagine how he could look much shorter of fitness without being injured.

Guttridge would surely come in in place of Gower if he misses out and Dudders in for Bramble. Apart from that, it'd be the same team I'd like to think.

I think Guttridge could be a key player for us in the coming seasons. Once he was on, he drifted about a lot but covered a fair bit of ground and was always looking for the ball, even if it was to pass it back where it came from. Its nice to see a player looking for the ball. The only other one that does that, in my opinion, is Maher.

Nicky Nicolau should play if Gower is not fit. He did quite well earlier in the season wen he came in for Gower... and he scored a few goals.:)

if gutteridge does play he needs to get into the habit of passing to a BLUE shirt.:D

Jeez, not another one.

Nicky came in a played well twice. Kidderminster away and Rushden at home. Rushden were a woeful side and he was up against a very inexperienced full back. He'd be very uninfluenctal up against Northampton.

He is a average player, and if Southend United are looking to progress, his the type of player we don't need.

Bugger.

Oh well, God will just have to come back for the final and get us the winner.

please not Dudfield he always looks flat footed out of puff and out of ideas he is not the player we signed last year. As for Guttridge jury still out on his attitude. At the trust awards last week he was the only player to come in and mutter god i need a drink lets get to the bar didnt see what he was gasping for hope it was a nice pineapple juice or similar
