And how do you propose that would happen?
One of the ticket staff travels up with the team coach and a case full of tickets and change. Borrows a trestle table from Chesterfield and sells the tickets to the away fans as they arrive. Maybe has a portable credit card machine too.

just got 4 tickets. This could be interesting, mrs e usually sits at football, wonder how she'll cope with the hurly burly of standing??

not capable fact.

When in the championship we traveled to Burnley on a Tueday and we was told our tickets would be stamped as part of the incentive to get a Col U away ticket. Did it happen................................did it f*ck.

I just dont understand this panic in buying tickets again everyone who wants a ticket will get one

Yeah the view from the terrace at Wimbledon is awful. I've brought fans of bigger teams with me to Roots Hall before and they're always amazed how close to the pitch we are as fans. But Wimbledon is something else. It's like watching park football and when I went last season the quality of the match fitted with that description too.

Luckily this year we're playing some better stuff so I hope those attending see a good game.

Hopefully with a similar score / result

Last Year i did not apply for a ticket early enough. So had to apply for a ticket from Wimbledon via email.
Giving a friend's adress in Dagenham. Picked the ticket up from Wimbledon ticket office.
They sussed i was not a Wimbledon supporter, but put me in the Southend end.
Suppose i am a bit old to cause trouble at 55 though.
So Yes we will sell out like last year. Best to get yours from Southend. Or you might not be so lucky as me.
Yes I have already got a ticket this year.

SUFC web site saying still 191 tickets available...really? if that's up-to-date... that's really sad.

We took just under 800 to Pompey on a wet and windy Tuesday night, you'd have thought to take 852 to Wombles on a Bank Holiday would be a breeze???

I guess the difference is that you could get your ticket on the night in Portsmouth whereas Wimbledon is ticket only. Plus the lack of trains on Boxing Day! I only decided to go to Portsmouth at the last minute and was able to do so because of the ticket availability. If it was the same for Wimbledon I suspect that many would wake up on Boxing Day and decide to travel.

If you did fork out a large sum to respond to the cash call to keep the club afloat, then thank God for the generosity of those folks. In return they were advised their only benefit would be early access to tickets. If this is now withdrawn , shareholders surely should have been notified, Its an insult to put lottery ticket holders above them, I hope this is some silly error. Some donated a lot more than the cost of a few season tickets as well!

We have done the Torquays, Hartlepool etc this season and Plymouth in a few weeks but are not going to Wimbo. Thought we would give some of the other fans a chance to go for a change?

Have they moved the away fans? When I went there on boxing day a couple of season ago we were on the side and the view was ****ing awful, I said I wouldn't bother going again.

now there is part seating behind the goal and only (roughly) 2 thirds of the terrace for away fans (If I remember correctly).

Still same crappy view with the dugout obscuring part of the pitch and Stewards standing right in front of you.
