Spurs only offering 2900 for segregation reasons or 8000 if we pay up front for the lot. dont know how much truth there is to this but its what i've been told. the delay in any news is because of us still pushing for our rightful allocation of 15%.

Its in the rules i believe. Cant make you pay upfront according to some poster yesterday but cant remember where i saw it ...

"Carling Cup rule 22.2.3 - Unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing, all tickets shall be on a sale or return basis.

I believe that if any club requests and is given more than the 15% allocation then the home club can request payment up front for the extra tickets. There is no reason for Southend to pay up front for our tickets. "

That was posted yesterday!!

Knew it was somewhere!!

seems contradictory to me... the home team can request us to pay for any extra over 15%... and then the club sell them on for us. so southend have to pay in advance for the tickets like we do for a league game if we request a bigger allocation

How do you know this? Are you sure? I can't get to the game on Saturday so, unless we get the 8000, it looks like my group of 7 will be with the home supporters.

Once again those of us who live out of area and work are up the swanny. I live in Southampton, have 4 season tickets, am driving 300 miles on Saturday but am expected to get to the ticket office again on Monday. Fat chance. We live in the 21st century with phones, internet etc and we have to turn up in some ticket office in order to get a ticket. If this is the case I feel that I have been duped to buying a ST. part of the attraction is a virtual guarantee of aticket for such big games!

Anyway there is still 4 weeks til the game. Surely STHs deserve longer to purchase tickets!

Usually, just me and a mate go to the aways. For the yiddos we have a crew of ten that wanna go.I'm sure this is a pattern repeated by many,so if you can SUFC ....Grab the bleeding 8000 pleeeeease

Surely if Tottenham aren't offering us the full allocation, or rather are offering us it in a manner that contravenes the league cup regulations, then the matter should be taken further?

maybe that's why we're getting so little news at the moment?

Does anyone know if there's a hope in hell of us being given the 8,000 allocation? I'm (at the moment) getting a Spurs ticket off my mate who may well not be able to go due to work, if we're getting a small allocation that's the only way I'll get a ticket for the game but if it's gonna be 8,000 as a non-STH I can probably get one in the away corner.

Anyone in the know here?
