Three bands you wish you had got to see

1. Led Zeppelin.

2. The Doors.

3. Elvis Presley.

& also The Mamas and the Papas. Mama Cass had a most wonderful voice and I always (and still do) fancied Michelle Phillips.

Ive been lucky in that ive seen pretty much every band ive wanted to,i started going to gigs when i was 16 and then re-started in that i took my 13 year old to gigs as she was into the same music i was.A 40 yr old moshing is not a pretty sight, but i stood firm.
The one and only band ive never seen that i was heavily into was JOY DIVISION and the strangest gig was FLOWERED UP.
gOOD CALLS ON SHED 7 AND CARTER USM.

Pink Floyd's The Wall tour. I've been told it was the nuts!

The Jam, especially as my Mum wouldn't let me see them at the Cliff, because it was on a school night! So was the Liverpool replay & I was 13 or 14 then, so ner!! & my Liverpool supporting brother went & he's 19 months younger! Yes, I am bitter!! :madman:

Blondie, at their peak & when Debbie Harry was the horniest woman on the planet!! Seen them live a few times over the last couple of years & were the dogs bollocks, although the electrics weren't for one of the gigs!!

Didn't have to think very long for those choices!

earth, wind, and fire

I once saw Terry Earth and Bob Wind from EW&F outside the Esplanade in the late 80's (no idea where Ron Fire was).
Terry Earth still had his King Afro, but poor old Bob Wind was sporting a pretty bad afro combover that was flapping in the breeze...
I left them to their funky dancing.

I wish I had gone to see: -
Throbbing Gristle, Ample Cleavage (they all had enormous jugs) and either Michael Bolton or Chris De Burgh (purely to exact punishment for their various crimes)

Toodle Pip!
