He broke up a lot of Brentford's play and tackled with belief. I thought he was unlucky to get booked as from where we were it looked nothing like a booking. Hope he gets another run in the team as it can only benefit him in the long run.

If he hadn't already had a fairly firm warning, he'd have probably got away with that challenge.

No complaints about the caution and certainly none about Woodyard's performance although he did tire (understandably) as the game went on.

Woodyard was excellent on saturday . He looked composed on the ball , confident enough to hold onto it until the right moment + actually threaded several through balls for the strikers which Mkandawire very rarely did. Woodyard was strong in the tackle , kept it simple and ensured that our other midfielders could get forward. He is a lot better than people give him credit for + is very very popular among the other players so excellent for team spirit. He was one of our best players before he was harshly dropped + as a youth team player should be encouraged and congratulated on his performances. I would rather keep him in the team + he will get better with more experienced rather than waste money on a big name on championship money. Well done Alex !!!

To be fair at that time we were struggling to field a midfield and he was dropped for Laird and Mkandawire and our form went through the roof at that time.

Hang on were were playing a top L1 side. Thought he was superb at times. Ran his socks off and used the ball sensibly. He is not the finished article but given his age and lack of match practice I thought he did great.

Thoroughly agree with this. He is not the finished article and certainly wouldn't expect him to be given his age and experience. Thought he was excellent considering.

Thought he played a blinder, not frightened to tackle and took a dreadful studs showing tackle from a Brentford player which could have broken his leg and which incredibly went against him, pain of the challenge was written over his face.
Hope he keeps good work up

i thought he was excellent, fell away in the second half and should have been subbed but i thought he was really good and punched well above his weight physically
