Question Things to do in north wales.

Being gay as i am i dont drink beer/lager but thanks anyway and Al i know mold is the pits hence the what to do question just so i can get away and keep sane-ish.

Go into a local village pub, get a pint (or 6) of whatever local non-corporate brew they sell and moan to anybody who's prepared to listed about Ron Martin ;)

You can't do that... that's my job

(The Penryhn Arms, Llandudno is a fantastic pub - Wales Pub of the Year 2008, Cider Pub of the Year numerous times - and I'd recommend seeking out Great Orme beers (better than Conwy Brewery) or Purple Moose beers (multi award winning and do a fantastic dark ale "Dark Side of the Moose").

Avoid Llandudno like the plague on a Saturday or Sunday - it's a nightmare. Took me 30 minutes to travel the 3/4 of a mile up the high street yesterday.

I second Chester as an excellent day out. Also, if you want to arrive in Mold via the scenic route, take the A500/A51 route to the A55 from the M6 (instead of M56) and pop in a Snugbury's. You won't miss it as they build a straw sculpture each year (Link) which this year is a giant Meerkat.

Simples.

Again not being a drinker and having 3 youngsters with me pubs good or bad are of no intress and i do take the senic route but we fly into liverpool and heading out from the mold area.
