The ' turn your back on nastiness ' thread

Oh, BTW, in this happy climate I can confirm that 'decree nisi' was granted yesterday and therefore in 6 weeks time I will never actually have been married. Woot.

Blimey, a state I can happily aspire to be in :stunned:

Yesterday I received my Jack Kerouac t-shirt through the post, it looks fantastic and only took 2 days from ordering. I'd highly reccomend www.weadmire.net to any SZoner, they make v cool t-shirts of films, music, authors, historical figures (you can even get Henry VIII or Winston CHurchill!).

Oh, and on Saturday I will be out drinking with Aussie mates for the first time since England regained The Ashes :D

Morning Chap.

I can strongly recommend one of those church things as a venue.

If that doesn't suit, you could try your local, although trying to recite your vows whilst some ****ed mug is playing the fruit machine or darts can spoil the vibe slightly.

Hope this helps

I was thinking of a mosque (I'd thought I'd beat some too it....), but only if they served Guinness on tap....

I did mate, and I'm glad I kept the bog roll in the fridge as it was as hot on the way out as it was on the way in. :O

You had me chuckling there mate but I can't green rep you as I've got 'to spread it around' (in a different manner to what you done :)) - is there a good curry shop on the Island or did you have to cross the River?

Tandoori Nights on Furtherwick is pretty good, and the Anika opposite, but there it's bring your own booze, and it's abit disconcerting when you see people dragging a pallet of wife beater and a crate of Smirnoff Ice in before the starters are served.
