The training ground is coming along nicely!!!!

Those look like they are coming along nicely for the start of the season, given the poor state of the pitch at the hall I do wonder whether training on pristine pitches and playing on rather worse ones will have any impact
I think having training pitches that are in "too good" condition compared to Roots Hall is probably at the bottom of our list of problems at the moment.

Rochford Council have updated the planning application with a committee date of 22 june - so should know the decision on the temporary planning application in a few weeks time.
Good news. Hopefully this will be a formality and we have ironed out any possible wrinkles with the officer involved. Can't help but think that the units being painted green and the bund are Rochford council stipulations. Also hope the units are already being fitted out at the factory for dropping in in time for pre season. I'm sure the specialist firms dealing with these buildings can get them sorted amazingly quickly. Anyone know exactly when pre season starts.

You never know, they might only be needed for a couple of years.

Used to be beginning of July when we were in the EFL? NL season starts a week? later so wasn’t preseason started also a week later?
I would imagine a couple weeks to install and we would be fine.

EDIT: last season first day back training was 29th June…. So a week to drop in.
