#TheSouthendUnitedRunner continued yesterday as we made it 5️⃣ unbeaten as we scored a last gasp leveller to pick up a well deserved point with a 2️⃣-2️⃣ draw with Yeovil Town, so £5️⃣ from each of the match sponsors to South East & Central Essex Mind and 5️⃣ miles to run.

One of the match sponsors joined me as we had a catch up during our 5️⃣ mile run.

#TheSouthendUnitedRunner continued yesterday as we made it 6️⃣ unbeaten. A frustrating night at Roots Hall saw Southend United pick up 1️⃣point when it should have been all 3️⃣. A 2️⃣-2️⃣ draw with Woking, so £5️⃣ from the match sponsor to South East & Central Essex mind and 5️⃣ miles to run.

This was done as an hours buggy run with the little dude, which covered the miles required.

#TheSouthendUnitedRunner continued on Saturday as we made it 7️⃣ unbeaten. A superb first half display, and a battling second half display saw Southend United pick up all 3️⃣ points with a 2️⃣-1️⃣ win over Altrincham so £6️⃣ from the match sponsors to South East & Central Essex Mind and 1️⃣2️⃣ miles to run.

Started off the week getting those miles in during my 1️⃣4️⃣ mile run.

#TheSouthendUnitedRunner returned yesterday as we made it 8️⃣ unbeaten. We came from behind twice away to promotion chasing Forest Green Rovers to pick up a thoroughly deserved point with a 2️⃣-2️⃣ draw. So £5️⃣ from both of the match sponsors to South East & Central Essex Mind and 5️⃣ miles to run.

These miles were incorporated in the Essex 2️⃣0️⃣ put on by Active Training World. This marks the halfway stage of #TheSouthendUnitedRunner but it will be extended if we reach the play-offs.

#TheSouthendUnitedRunner returned on Saturday as we made it 9️⃣ unbeaten. An excellent first half display, and a battling second half display ensured that they left the Silverlake Stadium with all 3️⃣ points following a 2️⃣-1️⃣ win at playoff hopefuls Eastleigh. So, £6️⃣ from both of the match sponsors to South East & Central Essex Mind and 1️⃣2️⃣ miles to run.

These miles were incorporated in a Monday morning half marathon to get this weeks training off to a positive start in the Essex sunshine.

#TheSouthendUnitedRunner continued on Tuesday night as we suffered a first defeat in 🔟. An awful second half display meant we fell to a 3️⃣-0️⃣ defeat away at Boston United .So, £3️⃣ from all three of the match sponsors to South East and Central Essex Mind and 3️⃣ miles to run.

These miles were incorporated in a buggy recovery run today in the Essex sunshine.

#TheSouthendUnitedRunner continued on Saturday evening as we put in an outstanding display to return to winning ways with a 1️⃣-0️⃣ win over promotion chasing Oldham Athletic. So, £4️⃣from all of the match sponsors to South East & Central Essex Mind and 8️⃣ miles to run.

These miles were done on the treadmill at work to get them done and dusted.

We are into the last 6️⃣ games of the season, and if anybody else wants to add their name to sponsor any of these additional fixtures, it would be a huge help. Just shy of £200 has been raised with this so far.

These miles were done on the treadmill at work to get them done and dusted.

We are into the last 5️⃣ games of the season, and if anybody else wants to add their name to sponsor any of these additional fixtures, it would be a huge help. Just shy of £200 has been raised with this so far.

#TheSouthendUnitedRunner continued on Saturday as we slipped to a really disappointing defeat at Roots Hall. A 0️⃣-1️⃣ defeat against Solihull Moors. So, £1️⃣ from the match sponsors to South East & Central Essex Mind and 1️⃣ miles to run.

This mile was done on the treadmill at work as part of a 🔟km.

We are into the last 4️⃣ games of the season, and if anybody else wants to add their name to sponsor any of these additional fixtures, it would be a huge help. Just over £200 has been raised with this so far.
