The Rock on Soccer AM

damn you, was going to say that. how funny was that when they did the punching thingy and danny dyer etc jumped in. hahaha

Very funny - thought he was going to break his mike pack actually. Always thought the Rock's a great guy, doesn't take himself too seriously. They said he was on Jonathon Ross last night as well which I hadn't realised - is that repeated anywhere or can I watch it on this new BBC thing they've set up?

Think it's repeated late tonight, but yeah it's on the iplayer.

You will be able to see it on this

Just finished watching the Jonathon Ross thing, great show! Very funny, apart from McKeith.

Seemed like quite a funny bloke. Alot better than Holyfield who just seemed like he didn't wanna be there. And Holyfield punches like a girl (though i still wouldn't wanna be on the other end of it lol)

Was always more of a Steve Austin fan myself but I saw him on Jonathon Ross and he seemed like a great guy.

I missed Keeley because i was watching Al Murry....gutted

Suggest you watch it then as it was quite funny. A little touch on Tipping the Velvet got Jonny Boy quite excited, and I think she was quite mildly merry towards the end, and found old Dwayne quite an exciting prospect - her body language told volumes! Mind you, couldn't blame her.;)

I think he has always been quite a humble person, up for a laugh and knows how to work the crowd/public/fans/media. Seems very genuine and seemed to enjoy himself unlike some people who go on their and do very little! Holyfield lightened up as it went on a bit and he seemed very difficult to interview. Thought Dyer/Hassan were as good valoo as normal.

Thought The Rock was great fun, as a bit of a WWE fan I would love it if he came back for a short run but I guess he's making too much money making movies these days.

He's inducting his father Rocky Johnson and his grandfather The High Chief Peter Mavia into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before Wrestlemania at the end of the month.

Believe the Jonathan Ross repeat is on at 1.15am tonight on BBC1

To be fair to Holyfield, he did a tentative jab and it was still almost better than the Dyer one. Somehow, I reckon had Holyfield stepped in to it, he may have come out on top! It must be hard for someone not interested in football to come on a football programme.

As regards your opinions on the Great One.......it doesn't matter what you think!

Absolutely, Great from top to toe (and all the bits in between - mmmm!)! Had hoped with the induction of his relatives at Wrestlemania he might be putting in a guest appearance in the ring like he did a few years back with Mick Foley (the Rock and Sock combo!), but doesn't sound like it from what he's said in those two interviews.

Do watch the Jonathon Ross one if you missed it, it's really very funny!

I think the best we can hope for is some backstage skits/interactions with the current roster though he could dish out some Rock Bottoms and Peoples Elbow on a heel in a similar manner to Hogan a couple of years back.

If you smell what I'm cooking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
