The Rob Noxious Retro Radio Show

'Salute The Vinyl!' > http://www.mixcloud.com/rob-spooner/the-rob-noxious-retro-radio-show-131013-salute-the-vinyl/ "The Rob Noxious Retro Radio Show returned to its roots on this grey Autumn day at The Source Studios - cranking up the turntable and whizzing it around to 45rpm in readiness for the little seven inch wonders unlocked from 'The Vinyl Vault'! We also celebrated Paul Simon's birthday with a few tunes from his solo songbook and from his 'duo-lling' days with Art Garfunkel. And to explain the Annie Nightingale reference ... does anyone remember the usually divine Annie asking Paul Simon if it was common knowledge that Paul wrote all the songs for S&G? Paul's reply? " I think by almost everyone but you, Annie." And talking of DJ gaffes ... 'This Flight Tonight' by Nazareth was released in '73 and not '76. Research - that's what it's all about, groovers! Keep it Vinyl Retro!"
