Does the club benefit from spend at the food truck - is it on a profit split or does the truck just pay a fixed rent to be there regardless of income?Very, very disappointed when I got to the ground to find I couldn't access the new Food Truck from the West Stand. As I've said previously, the fare is really good and the options were increasing - another home game where the club had no discretionary spend from me...
Do we want a sustainable club? Yes. Is there anything I could buy? No. QED.

Well done Simon, i am glad to see sense has prevailed and TBH i don't think the staff working the stands thought it was a good idea in the first place, let alone the Burger Van owner who i am sure would of let his feelings be known.
Honestly don't know the answer to that, I can ask but that may be something they prefer not to disclose.Does the club benefit from spend at the food truck - is it on a profit split or does the truck just pay a fixed rent to be there regardless of income?

At least we got the result. Well done the club.
Because, I would have thought, stewards are allocated according to seats sold. If you've got fluctuating numbers during the course of the match, then you are not going to comply with safety requirements. Unfortunately, there's far too much red tape and legislation these days, to allow the kind of free movement we enjoyed in the 70s!Happy to hear it'll be sorted.
I really don't understand why this is a 'safety' issue though, why would it be a problem for west and north standers to walk around the corner to a large open area to buy a nice burger/drink and then wander back to our seats?
I'll tell you something that isn't safe, the West having a single entry/exit to a stand that holds nearly 3K with a tiny space at the back to funnel everyone through. If having the North open to us is now permanent then the NW gate should be left open permanently from now on and we should be able to at the very least be able to leave the stadium into Fairfax.
Yeah it's all a bit silly isn't it. I'm not personally asking for people to be allowed to wander into whatever stand they choose but just some common sense in accessing a burger van and making it easier and safer to leave the stadium at the end of the game.Because, I would have thought, stewards are allocated according to seats sold. 20% of everything they sell is what I heard a fair while back .Rylee is happy for me to share with you the fact that the Club DOES benefit from sales at the new burger outlet.
