Tough for the club- on one hand they want to max what they get- on the other I am sure PS will be waiting for it to be finalized as it surely will have an impact on where he might go with his transfer targets (or rather what can be afforded)

Would think it will be sorted early next week

I reckon we should include a clause in the sell on fee that we get an extra 1% everytime he gets sent off or booked....we will be quids in!

What have Ferdinand, Phillips, Hall, Benyon, Timlin, Barker, Clohesey, Kalala, Dickinson, Grant and Hurst got in common ? They all had a worse disciplinary record than Mohsni for the second half of last season.

Well said. For me there are too many people wanting to sell off Bilel far toooooooo cheaply.

But not over the whole season, eh?

He was suspended by the club and missed a month, not what i would call a good disciplinary record either.

Obviously not, but the suggestion, supported by statistics, is that his behaviour on the pitch had improved significantly and to the extent that he was not a liability.

Let's look on the bright side - if the 'sell no matter how small the fee' opinion wins out, then perhaps we can persuade the Man City manager to sell their forward who has a bit of a 'reputation' to us for the Bilel money we receive .........

Its not compulsory to have a headcase in your squad each season as far as I know, but agree totally with your point.

...but never refused to travel home with the rest of the team.....never lunged at their own players with a pair of scissors. Never created a 7 day wedding in France.....and they all turned up for training when they were supposed to.

West Ham can have him, quite frankly for 50p and a Mars Bar.

Regular mars bar, or a duo?

They were also playing for that period and not on holiday

In fairness his bookings etc improved as did his attitude, but even so he was always a loose cannon and you never knew what he would do, which of course was also a strength as well as a weakness.

Get a copy of Red Card Roy. If all he says is true then his disciplinary record on AND off the field (he had to be stopped attacking an opponent in the dressing room just sans scissors) Bilel is a well adjusted pussycat in comparison. And he didn't get on well with some of his colleagues either. He hated Richard Cadette for a start. Didn't stop him playing with him though. And Big Roy is a Blues legend.

150k is less than I hoped, but didnt really expect much more than 200k.

Its still a decent amount for a player who isnt even really a first team player.
If he's as good as some think then good sell on and performance clauses should pay off. If he isn't then 150k is a good price.

Spot on.

Ok, RED Card Roy ordered! A title for Bilel's book? "Zero to Hero or Nero." Poor effort and i'm sure some of the witty wags on here will trump it pdq.

Maybe his conduct ON the pitch was no longer the issue.
