The Lee bradbury must start on sat thread

Bradbury must start. Fantastic performance for a fantastic player. Bradbury and Charlie Mac for me. I like that kid, has a bit presence and played well when brought on. Another who impressed me was Collis. i thought we looked more solid with him in goal, flavs wouldn't have saved their goal and i thought he did a good job, even if his kicking was sometimes wayward. It culminated in a fantastic penalty save and in my opinion deserves to play at Leeds.

too be fair to collis the weather must have been hard to play in especially for a keeper. great pen save though

Three goals and an assist...........comment on that
I not saying he gonna score 30 goals this season, but he must have jumped ahead of Harrold(god knows anyone marking him does)

How I am wishing that you can be as prolific as that for SZFC this season.

Ah there goes that flying pig past my window again.

I would like to see Lee start on Saturday and I agree with Beefy's comments, I thought Hooper would be better than he has been so far (I know he only been in two games), but when MacD came on he seemed to want to get stuck in and was linking up better with Lee.

Sorry to go off subject abit but didn't want to start a new thread, where has Paynter gone, is he injured as he didn't even make the bench ?

I think Bradders and hooper/Macdonald should start saturday.

don't think he was, the bench was Hunt, Black, Macdonald and Richards. He was at the ground though unlike most of the rest of the squad.

I think Bradbury did enough last night to earn a start on Saturday. I thought MacDonald looked quite good when he came on as well so I'd be inclined to start him alongside.

I feel a bit sorry for MAtt Harrold, out of the team through injury after one game but to be honest Bradders' touch, visions, awareness and (on last nights eveidence) finishing are a class above Harrolds. Tilly must be praying that Bradders doesnt get injured for any length of time this season as our other options dont look very good.

Ive always been a fan of Bradbury but was hoping a more prolific striker would replace him this season. If he can score a few goals though he is the ideal front man, wins the ball and holds it up plus he has experience.

Im delighted he got a hattrick last night but am hoping people dont expect him to do that every week, after all a goal every 3 games is a good ratio and if he doesnt score the next two matches people will be berating him again.

As to who plays up front with him I would probably give Hooper another game. He has never really had a run in the side and I think deserves another match or two. Macdonald will be a good player to bring on in the second half and will certainly be pushing for a start.

I was all for giving Hooper a good run in the side but Charlie Mac showed so much more than Hoops did tonight and really looks like he's desperate for a chance in the first team. I think I'd start with him alongside Bradbury.

As for Black... I just don't see Tilly dropping JCR or Gower yet. Both played well at times tonight. But Black looks another one who appears to have a really good attitude and it won't be long before he gets into the side.

Agreed with all that has been said about Charlie Mac. Looked hungry and was a constant menace. Hope he gets a start this saturday at Leeds.

i'd go with that but have a suspicion Hooper will start again.

Yeah, I think Hoops will start again on Saturday. He's not been brilliant so far but we should be a bit patient with him and give him a run in the team - although I'd like to see Charlie start if Tilly believes that Hooper is the answer then he should stick by his convictions.

Yeah your right about that, you cannot go on one performance. A fair run in the team will give us a much better idea what he is going to be capable of. It a hard decision though as I think Bradders deserves a start but also want to see Macdonald start, I wouldnt like to be Tilly!
