The Lee bradbury must start on sat thread

I know this smacks of hindsight but I honestly thought we missed lee on saturday, yes Harrold deserved a start as no one scored more goals than him in pre season, I only went to one game pre season the Arnheim game and the whole match changed the minute he walked onto the pitch.

fully agree about the Arnhem game . I got a bit slagged for suggesting Bradbury and Harrold before I knew Harry out tonight as they are both similar players but I feel that Harry might well benefit from Bradders' presence and they would both test the opposition defenders in the air , which doesn't happen often with a Southend front two

I dont think bradders and harrold should play together both supposed to be similar players, the main difference is that bradders holds the ball up and links up play and harrold doesnt

Also we should Start with MacDonald ahead of Hoops. Hoops has promise, but not the footballing brain of Maccy D. If you want to be a bit harsh, not the hunger either. Maccy D seems to want it a lot more than most.

Another player I would like to see start is Black. He seems to add a different dimension to the team, but who do you drop? JCR? No! Gower, probably not, Macca? Yes, but who plays in the middle?

I was all for giving Hooper a good run in the side but Charlie Mac showed so much more than Hoops did tonight and really looks like he's desperate for a chance in the first team. I think I'd start with him alongside Bradbury.

As for Black... I just don't see Tilly dropping JCR or Gower yet. Both played well at times tonight. But Black looks another one who appears to have a really good attitude and it won't be long before he gets into the side.

Sorry Fella , but if JCR fails to deliver then he is the most likely IMO , barring injuries etc

I don't think it's any secret i'm not his biggest fan, but I whole heartedly agree that he should start ahead of Harrold at the weekend. I do think though that Charlie Mac should play ahead of Hooper though...

On the other hand I feel that Hooper and Bradbury play well together and Hooper got a couple at Elland road last year in the carling , so I'd bring CMac on if we need to freshen things up
