The Gurkha Justice Campaign

The Big Dady

¡Viva la Kevolución! ⭐️ ⭐️
The Gurkha Justice Campaign

Gurkhas are fighting for Justice. They want the same terms and conditions as their UK and Commonwealth counterparts.

Britain has had no greater friends than the Gurkhas. They have served all across the world in the defence of our Country for nearly 200 years. Over 45,000 died in the two World Wars as part of the British Army. They are still fighting in the British Army today.

You may have seen in the media that the Gurkhas have been fighting in Parliament and the Courts. Step by step, things are getting better - but there is a long way to go.

On Tuesday 30th September, the High Court ruled their treatment had been unlawful in terms of the right to live in the UK if they retired before 1997.

Following that fantastic High Court decision, the Government has to change the law on how it treats Gurkhas. We demand the full, fundamental change in law that will allow all retired Gurkhas the right to live here.

By signing up below you will be expressing your support for all Gurkhas. You will be signing our petition, and we will be able to contact you in the future as we mount the largest ever campaign to get them the Justice that they deserve.

Join me in the campaign: together, we can finally right this wrong.

Think this is a extremely important petition, and we should all show our appreciation and gratitude to these guys.

Having once met a serving Gurkha who happily scared the living crap out of me when (****ed) I kept on about his knife being drawn which then demanded blood, he grabbed my hand, drew the knife and put it to my thumb. I soiled my pants, he smiled and nicked his own thumb then put it away. I almost fainted and have evermore held a great respect for them. I think it is nothing short of a disgrace that Gurkha's haven't been aloud to settle here after serving this country and am pleased as punch that the high court have finally said that the UK is acting wrongly. About bloody time. I'll sign up with pleasure.

An absolute travesty of justice

Over 45'000 of these guys have laid down their lives for the Union Jack, yet they can not live here???

Maybe if they smuggled themselves in to a lorry and snuck in, then they would not be questioned

THIS IS A SHOCKING STATE OF AFFAIRS

For once in this country's pathetic existence can it not do the right thing

Joanna Lumley is doing really well fronting the campaign for the Gurkhas, and it got a good bit of publicity on Al Murray last night.

these guys are extremely brave men who have fought for this country many times.

they should be treated as any other serving british soldier.

the goverment should hang their heads in shame.
