While we are resurrecting threads what are the views of the SZ collective after London?

Olympics - not even close. To be fair, 4 weeks ago I would have said the world Cup.
Also, where I have always considered myself to be form england, I am now from Great Britain.

Football sucks basically.

I'm getting a little tired of this bandwagon. Of course football has its faults, but so do many of the events in the Olympics. FFS, a gold medallist was chucked out yesterday for drug offences.

My answer to this question would be 'The Olympics', but I'm not going to start giving the game I love a shoeing just because I enjoyed the last two weeks.

Yes, it would be nice if football's perennial tosspots started to realise that they don't need to dive and swear at refs and act arrogantly. But players of that ilk are actually few and far between.
