Yep. The Sainsbury store can not be operational until the new stadium (well 3 sides anyway) are in full use. We have Southend Council to thank for that.
 
Can see us becoming the next Coventry!! sharing a ground up to 40 miles away! Would anyone take us on with our debts? is their a sheik out there with a soft spot for cockles and shrimp and a muddy beach!?
 
Couldn't we have just been happy at RH? Seem to have sold our club to Sainsbury's who can just drop us once taking control.

If we wanted to be become a bigger club, in the Championship for example, then we'd need a bigger stadium to help pay for the increase in wages.

I'd back that all the way if we'd become a solid championship side. But, we had gained two consecutive promotions punching well above our weight and I believe Ron was just going with that momentum.
Swansea did it right, Darlington did it wrong.
