The Fictional Dinner Party Thread

Matt the Shrimp

aka Harry Potter
It's Friday, and I'm waiting for DtS to put up a thread which is far more amusing / edgy than anything that staid ole' MtS can come up with... so, in the meantime, I thought I'd go with a message-board classic: The Dinner Party thread.

It's dinner, round at your place, the food and booze is taken care of. Now you just need the guests.

You can have three guests, from any period in history, and it can be presumed that irrespective of where they're from, they're generally house-trained and can speak English.

So, who's on your guest list? I reckon I'm going to go for:

Karl Marx
Oscar Wilde
Nicole Kidman

Should be an interesting evening chez MtS...!

I'd go for

Stanley Collymore - well, this is SZ so there has to be something SUFC related
Dean Gafney - to get some current perspective of life in the jungle
Jessica Alba - because afterall I'm a dirty old man who needs something to look at

Kylie Minogue ~ maybe she can give us a song afterwards?
Edward Whymper ~ a few tales from his "Scrambles in the Alps" maybe?
Charles Dickens ~ I know he can tell a tale or two ...

Mary Magdalene - to find out if she did...
Nelson Mandela - top man
The prophet Mohammad - to submit my copy edits for his bestselling book

I would go in no order.

* Anne Hathaway
* Cheryl Tweedy/Cole
* Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Sod the conversation I just want a perv...

Mary might be a bit busy though, as according to Catholicism.com Saint Mary Magdalene is the Patron’s Saint of women, sexual temptation, Italy, hairdressers, reformed prostitutes and converts.

Blimey, bit of a mixed bag there

Victoria principle
Lynda Carter (wonder woman)
Daisy Duke..

All in their prime.. sod the chat chat, i'm just gonna try to get em drunk and try it on.

The Queen (gotta raise your glass to someone)
Maggie Thatcher (hero)
Ian Dowie (what a bloke)
Duke Of Edinburgh (he can insult the guests)
