The end of Top Gear...?

I hope it doesn't end, love Top Gear but i think they are running out of ideas and should maybe take a year off to go away and think of new ideas and new concepts and then come-back and dazzle us all. Clarkson is hilarious to me. May is brilliant and his Lego House was brilliant. Hammond is a decent laugh as well. Bolivia one looks brilliant.

Maybe its just me But I find Hammond sooooooooooooooo annoying. I genuinely can't stand the guy. I know it wasn't top gear but James May and the 1/1 scale 'Airfix@ Spitfire and then Scalextric was brilliant.

I seriously got quite excited on the Scalextric race. Magnificent telly.

YOu do realise the viewing figures were down for this season because it competed against the sunday show of X factor ??

(though some if it is rather stale now)

Top Gear is a programme wich a niche audience so dog **** like the X Factor wouldn't normally affect it's viewing figures IMO. It's more likely that people are waking up to the fact that Clarkson and Hammond are two of the most witless cretins walking the earth.

I agree it's been a bit stale recently and the 3 of them have become caricature of themselves. The Christmas special in Vietnam last year was awful.

That said, the Botswana special, the race across London and a few others have been great television. Also May's trip in the U2 spy plane was excellent aswell.

Sorry, Richard Hammond can do no wrong in my eyes..................but then I'm partial to little blokes!!!
