The end of Top Gear...?

Rumours abound that this series of Top Gear is the final one as viewing figures have plummeted.

Not a big car fan and I do Sky+ it and fast forward through the reviews, but it's still an entertaining show when they do their silly challenges (even though the art one on Sunday was cack).

I wouldn't mourn the demise of Clarkson & Hammond, however I like James May, and his series of toy doco's have been very entertaining.

Agreed. The Art one was good at times but tedious and predictable for most of it. Clarkson does annoy me sometimes, I don't mind Hammond as he isn't as annoying as Clarkson. I really like May and his new series on toys.

Lego houses are the future!

Nuts magazine for sad middle aged men.

Paid for by me - and other licence payers.

Where is the intellectual fibre?

You mean the viewing figures have decreased from Clarkson and his Dog?

Christ, even his dog must've gotten bored of his ever inflating ego.

If it does stop then it won't be the end of Clarkson, Hammond and May.

May will continue his series about toys until he runs out of toys to use.

Hammond will host more shows and show up in more Morrison adverts.

Clarkson will appear in shows like HIGNFY.

I think a couple of years off and then a re-boot with some new presenters could work well. I haven't really watched it recently as it's got very boring and very samey.

How about running a forum and paying for that when half your posts are 1 line attempts at humour eh?

Its something for everyone

Whilst it may have become a bit predictable and a little stale, i do still like watching it and always look forward to the specials. Also i believe it is one of the corporations largest exports thus making them obscene amounts of money.

According to ABC figures Top Gear magazine is the largest distributed "Mens" magazine in the UK (though not for long!)

Personally I preferred it when they spoke about normal cars and how the new Sierra would do etc etc. These days they get the most expensive car they can find, belt round a track at maximum speed then rubbish it cos it only does 0-60 in 2 seconds. The old show with Clarkson reviewing new cars, Wilson doing 2nd hand and Tony small bloke doing motor sport was a better show.

I agree....
