I would think their are plenty of Southend fans who read the Echo but don't come on here. I was one for years. It's annoying for the few of us but probably is big news to others.

People on here complain about the Echo but at the end of the day it's our main source of Southend news these days, better than the official site. I'd say a Championship club bidding for 2 of our players is quite big news, we don't get bids for our players very often let alone 2. And as someone said, they've got to sell their newspaper. Chris Phillips does a great job.

Ok last night James Colasanti tweeted something some of us, me especially got excited about.

The wording of his tweet regarding being kept happy was poorly worded and taken out of the context he meant it. It therefore led to us being disappointed in the Echo this morning.
