The 2nd of the season begins!

Double breakthrough for Mrs BB, shouldn't take too long now as she's up against batters with PFL's of Low, Drained, Drained, Low and Drained !

End of Over 60 (Maiden). Exeter Bulldogs: 180-6, runrate=3.00 (1st Inn: 185-10)
Trail by 590 runs. (DIBS DIPPERS 365-1 dec & 590-3 dec)
York 18-5-40-2
Mathieson* 2 (8 balls)
Lineker 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Motson st. Stride b. York 27 (FOW: 180/6)

Nick is making a determined effort to make up for his second day non-declaration blunder!

End of Over 10 (1 runs). Mattshire CCC: 21-2, runrate=2.10 (1st Inn: 130-10)
Trail by 1415 runs. (Whos your Daddy 1566-6 dec)
Storer 5-0-19-0
Packer* 2 (10 balls)
Potter 4 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Manning Run Out 8 (FOW: 19/2)

A convincing win for Mrs BB, although everybody will hammer this lot, as their PFL is totally shot.

Mrs BB now 3rd, and with a very winnable game next week, although Kev plays Mrs BB's oppo from this week, so that's 22 points for him as well.

And that's the end of the match. DIBS DIPPERS win by 590 runs.

End of Over 64 (Maiden). Exeter Bulldogs: 180-10, runrate=2.81 (1st Inn: 185-10)
Trail by 590 runs. (DIBS DIPPERS 365-1 dec & 590-3 dec)
York 19-6-40-5
Stewart* 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Wheater c. Potter b. York 0 (FOW: 180/10)

Then i believe its me and Dibs the week after! TBH i cant see either of us catching Cricket Genuises. I just gotta hope both myself and Dibs can beat them!

:)

However, Dibs does have one thing in her favour. She is sandwiched between my 2 most important OD games, against Red Roses next Friday and Dilligaf the week after which may mean i need to save a player or 3!

Kev

She's got one of her easier OD games immediately before she plays you Kev, but straight after she has to play Nick's lot, so not quite sure what she'll do either.

1 over after tea, Horsey gets his 2nd century of the match but Nico departs.. a lot depends on how well Harmless can hold up an end now.

End of Over 58 (2 runs). Pettefershire CCC: 187-7, runrate=3.22 (1st Inn: 373-10)
Lead by 86 runs. (Aardvark Nigel 474-4 dec)
Allen 12-2-34-1
Harmison* 1 (2 balls)
Horsfield 100 (156 balls)
Last Wicket: Nico lbw b. Allen 44 (FOW: 186/7)

Nick is looking like he'll get there.

End of Over 19 (Maiden). Mattshire CCC: 45-6, runrate=2.37 (1st Inn: 130-10)
Trail by 1391 runs. (Whos your Daddy 1566-6 dec)
Anderson 10-5-6-5
Potter* 18 (26 balls)
Liebenberg 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Attwood b. Anderson 0 (FOW: 45/6)

He's still struggling with fitness though as he doesn't rest his bowlers often enough so DIBS may have a good chance.

Hmm, had a right go at Barrowdale's owner and he said he'll go back on the market for £13.5, but just seen this guy on the market, for £15million...

Nicky Liburd (328378)

A steady player with respectable leadership skills and superb experience.

Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: woeful Concentration: remarkable
Bowling: miraculous Consistency: elite
Fielding: exceptional

I'd be tempted to drop him a batting net, at feeble or mediocre he'd be a useful lower order blocker.

They're 159-8, a really stubborn partnership going on so far, lasting 19 overs. Looks like an easy game could be drawn.

EDIT: Just as I made the post, the very next ball led to a wicket. 158-9.

End of Over 6 (7 runs). Aardvark Nigel: 30-0, runrate=5.00 (1st Inn: 474-4 dec)
Trail by 131 runs. (Pettefershire CCC 373-10 & 262-10)
Harmison 3-0-16-0
Jennings* 17 (18 balls)
Vincent 12 (19 balls)

i think we've done enough, they need to be going at over 7 an over.

Nice recovery Loz, you looked dead & buried earlier!

tell me about it.... they finished 72-0, and we comfortably got the draw in the end. happy with that, they're one of the 2 standout teams in the league and had very good PFL.
