Being a student i took it to be a beer. I voted half empty although I believe in general I am pretty optimistic. But when it comes to beer if someone bought me that it would definately be half empty.

If you asked an engineer that question he would probably say that it was the wrong glass, so i am going with that option!!

With this question, it depends on how the drink was poured out. If it was poured to half way, that'll be half full. If it was a full pint, then it would be half empty. Sounds logical to me.
