Ten Artists .. Ten Tracks

iTunes shuffle:

Squarepusher - Into the blue
Siriusmo - Mosaik
Ghostface Killah - The Grain
Addison Groove - This is It
Deftones - Needles and Pins
Hudson Mohawke - Oops!
Idlewild - Listen to what you've got
Gil Scott-Heron & Jamie XX - I'll take care of you
The Verve - One Day
Aphex Twin - Omgyjya Switch 7

Two '80s gems for sure. Been revisiting the Kings of the Wild Frontier album myself lately - still sounds great. In fact if a new band were to release it today they'd probably be lauded as the next big thing.

Early Ants was great, that twin drum beat marked their music out as different from the norm. And then Adam went over the top with the pantomime and the theatricals, which was still fun but not a patch on the earlier stuff.

Just had a swift shffle, and...

Walk on the Wild Side - Lou Reed
Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen
Desperado - The Eagles
I Can't Stop Loving You - Ray Charles
Summertime Blues - Eddie Cochrane
We Gotta Get Out of This PLace - The Animals
Ballroom Blitz - The Sweet
Roxette - Dr Feelgood
Delilah - The Sensational Alex Harvey Band
Natural Born Boogie - Humble Pie

10/10 old boy

I heard 'Deutsche Girls' by Adam and the Ants recently and thought exactly the same thing.

Not such a good one. MK Shrimper rates this as 5.5/10

VERY generous Coxy .. Planet Blood can award only 2 full (Lizzy/Ramones) and 2 half marks (Staton,Chi-Lites)

Lizzy, Franklin, Ramones, Jackson 5, Clark and 1/2 point for Chi-Lites, though should be -1000 for anything containing that massively overrated Scottish bint Lennox.

HAAHAHAHAAHA!!! Well, very good then because that was a massive error....right song, wrong artist for some reason......it is of course, Tavares!!!

Only 3/10 from me(and I'm a little embarrased to admit that I've always had a soft spot for Pet. Clark's Downtown).
