Telford roll call

I'll be making the trip down the A470, A5, M54 to Telford from North Wales with another Shrimper in tow (well he'll be driving this time). Be even better if we knew what the ticketing arrangements were. Any news on that front yet?

Scrap the end of that last comment. On the AFC Telford website they provide details. Away fans will be accommodated in the terrace. Shame SUFC can't manage to put anything on the OS for those of us who can't get to home games that often due to the distance. I presume they made an announcement at the match on Saturday???

Indeed they did. Quite agree about the OS, it's a bit shambolic.

The details are there on the OS but for some reason the only way to get them was to do a search using 'Telford'. Surely these details should come up in either the latest news section or the ticket news section?

Bit cheesed off for this one...

With just 13 days on saturday until the predicted arrival of DtS Junior I decided to give my full commitment to MrS DtS and give Telford a swere.

Mrs Dts then decided she would go out with her fellow preggers birds this weekend. I have however comitted to working this weekend so unless I can think of a good reason to get out of work then I am not going......Gutted....

Yeah been thinking of that...If I can hit this weeks target nice and early can feel a cold coming on.....

There'll be 5 or 6 of us from East Anglia going too. This trip sees Suffolk Shrimper making his debut on the driving duties, so we'll have none of the car park and motorway incidents that are part and parcel of a trip when I drive.

Just realised too that this means I can have a drink for once :)

I'll be getting the train from Coventry over to Telford. Looking forward to it, my first away game of the season and looks like a nice little non league ground.

Mmm. If it ends up being another Aylesbury I'll be drinking too, so maybe one of the crew had better be designated as staying sober.

Yep, debut for me in driving you lot. New transport too - traded in the Green Skip for a pair of wiper blades and given back the crappy punto to wifey, now have a big black shiny thing instead with smoked screens. Accordingy to the manual it can achieve 0 to 60 in 9.9 seconds, though I suspect with five middle aged blocks on board (who is the mystery 6th potential candidate Andy?) I suspect acceleration might be a tad slower.

As for my driving skills, well I once leapt out of the car at home after another torturous away trip only to turn round and see the car rolling back down the drive with SS Jnr still in it. the car ended tits up in a ditch 100 yds away - SS Jnr ok but car not and Missus SS a tad peeved.
