The jury's out on Sawyer and he could be a good player, but I feel the lack of experience in the middle will mean we'll struggle to get a result. The rest of the team looks good to me though, just need Macca back alongside Grant.

Why are people dropping Barnard?

Because he hasnt scored silly! Everyone knows strikers are only there to score goals and if they arent scoring then they arent doing their job.

So what if we never give him the ball anywhere near the goal. He should still score!

Barnard is the most natural goal scorer we have, unfortunately until we start creating more he wont score. Then again no striker we have will relish playing in this side until we we start creating chances.

I think it's a bit early to throw Laurent straight in. He can't even speak English! I reckon Tilson will wait for a while before playing him, but hopefully not a whole season as with Liptak.

Sawyer reminded me of Gareth Ridsbridger in his 10 minute cameo. Just run around like a mad man and kicking people.

I dont think he is the answer for a tough away game - we could get overrun...

I'd go with Sawyer, personally. Ignoring his booking, he did look lively when he came on last Friday and showed a few decent touches, which isn't easy when you have a player less on the field.

I reckon Tilly will go with Sankofa, though.

Unfortunately he had close season and pre-season to get to that full potential. Not sure rest is the answer and his injury problems do seem like they will continue.

If he isnt fit then we will have to look at playing Walker who would at least offer a bit more pace.
