Team for millwall

Harrold and MacDonald up front would also mean four new strike-partnerships in four matches. Tilly needs to settle on two players and then give them a run together.

Bit difficult when he loans out the player who has started two of the three games. I generally agree but none of them together have shown much of a partnership. I'm honestly unsure of ST's plans for the strikeforce unless someone new is brought in before the transfer window.

I think we'll go:
Flavs

Gilbert
Hammell
Clarke
Barrett

JCR
Black
McCormack
Bailey

Foran
MacDonald

Subs:
Harrold
Hooper
Gower
Collis
Richards

B*llox you know what i'd play

Collis, Gilbert, Barrett, Clarke, Hammell, Black, Bailey, Maher, Gower, MacDonald, Bradbury Subs. Flavs, Hunt, JCR, Macca, Paynter

Probably find Bailey pushing forward on the right.
From what Ive seen of Bailey he is an out an out Defensive midfielder but thats only the Cheltenham game so I stand to be corrected

He played on the right a fair bit for Barnet. Plus our two promotions were built on having a central-player (Pettefer/Bentley/Bradbury) playing on one wing and an out-and-out winger (Gower) on the other.

It would be harsh on Tommy Black though.

Yes I thought Black would have got the nod, but he was pretty ordinary playing for the reserves so maybe that blew it.

I would bet my bollox on

DARRYL

GILBERT CLARKE BARRETT CRABBY

JCR MACCA BAILEY GOWER

HARROLD HOOPER

Hardly like Tilly ever changes his side much is it.

If Maher not fit then this is how I would like the team to line up

Darryl
Gilbert Barrett Lipstick Wilson
Black Bailey Macca Gower
Maccy d Bradbury

Lipstick is useless and Bradders has gone, insert Mathew Harrold and back Millwall to win at 2/1, enough to buy a new car!

And your basing your Liptak is useless on which first team apperance exactly Wiggy?

no one will get the line up they want. loads of people (including me) want black on for jcr and macdonald on. but it wont happen. jcr will start and matt fukin useless harrold will start.

With encouragment like that I'd imagine Harrold is chomping at the bit to get out there and do well for the club.

Team info from Sporting Life

Millwall boss Willie Donachie is likely to name an unchanged starting XI for their League One trip to Southend.

The Lions have made a solid start to the league campaign, collecting four points from two matches and keeping successive clean sheets in the process.

One player desperate to do well at Roots Hall will be forward Neil Harris, who used to watch his home-town club from the terraces as a youngster.

"There will be a lot of people going to watch the game, including some of my friends who used to watch Southend with me," Harris revealed.

"I am really looking forward to it. Some of them will be supporting Southend on Saturday, but some will be supporting me."

The Lions are still without forward Tom Brighton (ankle) and goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley (toe), as well as unsettled frontman Darren Byfield.

Southend will give a late fitness test to captain Kevin Maher.
The midfielder missed the 4-1 defeat at Leeds with a recurrence of the foot injury which troubled him towards the end of last season.

Right-back Simon Francis played for the reserves in midweek following an ankle injury sustained in pre-season, but manager Steve Tilson may decide the clash is too soon so on-loan Kerrea Gilbert should keep his place.

:hilarious:

Like to see harrold and maccy D up front, black in for JCR, at least we might see the ball go into the box and actually reach a target for once, and francis in for gilbert - but im basing that on his performance against orient...how did he get on in the other 2 matches for those of you that saw the games?
