If Freddy doesn't start I just hope there won't be murmerings of him being cheesed off. IF hes not overly involved. He was telling me in the summer how Phil Brown will give him more hope and opportunity this year and after not coming on against yeovil and possibly a sub today don't think will amuse him somehow. maybe wrong but i'm tipping fred to start today and maybe knock in his first goal of the season .

I suspect he will start today and that Brown was using the Yeovil game to boost the fitness of Cowan and Reid. I would not read too much in Freddy not coming on as a sub in that game as the injury to Bennett pretty much forced Brown's hand.

If though he does not start he will, like everyone else in the squad, have to simply work hard in training and prove he is worthy of being in the first eleven

In terms of the team to start I suspect it will be the same as Plymouth unless Laird is still injured in which case Clifford to replace him.

I understand your point but two things. 1| Very early on last season when Fred was not involved in the defeat at Gillingham he apparently begun to feel hard done by. I suspect it doesn't take him to long to get rattled so hope he does start today. 2| As I explained in the week I don't totally buy into the idea that Bennett's injury forced Brown's hand - By that I mean he could have left Straker to continue to cover at LB and bring on Fred instead to try and force the game into extra time. Thats nothing against Ben Coker ( who did come on ) becuse in terms of the League setting I think he is in the lead as the favoured LB at the moment. Did well against Plymouth.

Save the travel costs. They aren't going to get on.

Far better to let the youth team players play for the youth team than pick up splinters.

They are too old for the youth team now. You've also not named a sub GK, so if Bentley picks up an injury then we are screwed.

Bazza has played upfront, midfield and defence ....... so why not go for the "full house" and stick him in goal if needed - just as long as he doesn't get sent off .............................
