I'm not sure, I think Barney will start up front for sure in place of Laurent, but I also wonder if Jeff will start in the middle rather than Grant. I reckon Tilly will stick with Scannell for another game on the wing though.

What about Sankofa at CB? as most of you say he is defensively sound, reasonably tall. I think he is taller than Barrett. That way from the defense that played last Saturday it will be unchanged the least. I may be wrong but when we signed Sankofa I thought it was as 3rd choice centre back that could play right back if needed.

Would agree with the team selection but worried we might be seeing Franno at CB but think that this team is more likely. Possibly Betsy in for Scannell but I doubt it.

Yeah, I have got the same funny feeling about tomorrow. Im going for a 1-0 defeat with us dominating possession but creating nothing. Hartlepool get one chance all game and score.

I do however think that Tilly will move Barrett into the centre back position, and place Herd at left back, but I really do not want to see that happen. Francis on the right of defence following his fantastic display last Saturday, with Sankofa replacing Dervite. Scannell on the wing again I think, thought he did well on Saturday and was delighted to see him score his first goal of the season for the blues. Mousse on the left although I still think that southend lack a left winger and they have lacked one since Gower left us. JFC and Macca in the middle, thought Macca had a decent game on Saturday as well, and his goal was supurb. Robinson and Barnard upfront for me.

As to the attendance, I reckon about 7,000+ cannot really see it dropping below that.

Whilst I would love to see Herd back in the team, that'd mean Barrett playing at centre half and I don't want to see him do that again anytime soon alongside Clarke.

I'm pretty frustrated we haven't brought anyone in for the rest of the season. A couple of fresh faces could've really pushed us forward. Hey hum.

Why is everyone so opposed to this? Okay they are both better with different centre backs but they can play together and play quite well, last season we got to the play offs with those 2 together at CB and we have drawn with Chavski playing those 2 at centre back
