TBV/SZ Pub for Chelsea - United for Southend

In the Hamilton Halls Wetherspoons bar at Liverpool Street station in London with other many fellow Grecians, whilst we have many Southend United fans singing!

Was in there that day great pub easy going on football songs,child freindly,so that the boozer for us.

Just got a text from Ian 'Tank' Smith, who is coming over from Spain with his son. They're heading to The Pelican, but not until about 1pm

I may head to Brogans before that, very easy to find as it is right next to the station. Will do some more homework over the next day or so.

Slug and Lettuce sounds like a good post Crosse Keys boozer.

So, 9am start at Crosse Keys, then all head to Slug & Lettuce for 12-1pm?...

The slug and lettuce is a good pub for away fans but leaving it til 1 is risky,proberly be packed with southend fans by then.

we're be on the 9.36 a.m. out of Leigh. Be there by 11 and head down the North End Road. Plenty of pubs along there and only 10-15 mins walk to the ground.

The Slug and Lettuce

The Slug and Lettuce is a modern pub, part of the Slug and Lettuce chain of bars, and is probably the best pub for away fans. They serve basic pub food and have a good range of beers on offer. It's located just Fulham Broadway station, and only a few minutes walk to the ground. Like all good football pubs, it gets very busy, so arrive early.

Away fans are let in usually providing they are not wearing their colours, according to a mate of mine whose a chelsea fan.
