SZFC Womens Team Is Now Official. Latest Update.

At the AGM last night the womens team got the go ahead so on Sunday 29th June we will be holding our first training session. As it stands at the moment it will be held at Cupids but this does have to be okayed by Cupids. As soon as we have an answer then i will either post a new location or say that Cupids have said yes. If Cupids is agreed then the plan is to meet for 11am to meet everyone and explain everything to everyone in more depth and start the training session at 1130am. The general rule for SZFC is that once you have attended three sessions then you must pay at least the associate membership fee which is £10 and this gives you entry to the SZFC private board, along with being invited to all social events including the end of season do. On top of the £10 there could be another fee, but as we will not be playing in competitive league matches we wont be expected to pay the full fee of £40. However, if we need things such as training equipment thats when the additional fee may be included so we can buy things such as balls and bibs.

woo woo ill be there on the 29th, your gonna need someone to shot at, but really you should have Allen in goal ao it give you some chance of scoring and he plays at a girls standard too lol

no news on that keeper yet as the fella who knows her is on holiday, but i think he back monday so ill be on his case

Thanks Gareth. By the way people, Gareth has offered to help coach to goalkeeper and help out in general where he can at training sessions etc. He plays at a decent standard for his Sunday league team as GK so will be a welcomed addition :)

Let me know as soon as you find out about the keeper.

yeah but one thing got a text from the Gaffer telling me my Pre season starts 21st/22nd of June so i will need dates and times for any future training/games asap, so i can work round my Training

On another note. The 5-a-side tournement booked for 6th July @ Brentwood has had to be cancelled.
The good news is that I have provisionally booked us for an 11-a-side tournement in August and I am in the process of arranging some friendlies.
Will keep you all updated.
