Well im glad someone is concerned about this. I think that I had a valid point in pointing out that there is some work going on there lol. No good if we all have to squash on to one slab outside is there hmmm?

Erm what you said was that the pub was no longer there, not that some paving slabs are being replaced.
Fortunately Mr B was on hand to sort this misinformation out, and lucky for us he was.

Well it actually looked like it had been removed it looks really different around there now you will see when you turn up! So when you are all perched on one peice of pavement and within licking distance of almost every SZ'er then you may have taken me seriously :angel:

Mr B has been in contact with the works foreman who tells us that the work will be finished by the 26th.
If I remember correctly you were going round there at lunchtime to find out what was going on....where is your report?

Ha the works foreman......Well I have not yet popped out for lunch, cant be long mind you I want to knock of early to start drinking. I will sneak a peek in a short while. Will a detailed report earn me some respect back and perhaps a big glass of wine .....:whistling:

To be fair to Sam, it is currently smothered in orange cones and barriers both outside and inside the alley way so i can understand where the assumption came from, when I went up there only 4 lonely souls were in the pub which is very unusual for 11:50am in The City. I will be back to provide daily updates next week.....

I have just skipped past the entrance on my lunchtime travels....

I didnt observe for long as its freezing and rainy but I braved it to give an up to date report for the good people of SZ (minus the ones that gang neg repped me). I too can provide daily updates until said date next Thursday. I can make a check on the works progress as I walk past it on my way to work.

Anyways....plenty of cone-age going on down the alleyway entrance and I have to say that there was just two humans visible to me. Its looking somewhat disturbing down the alley right now but hopefully by next week it should all be in order. Updates to follow in the coming week.
