My comment was rather tongue in cheek! However, if I can help at all, I'd be happy to undertake this "cleaning up" job during the summer hols - after all, I am a woman, and I know my place ;) ! Believe that, you'll believe anything! Offer still stands though guys.

You've either posted a shedload in the last 24 hours or someone has added all your accounts together despite the fact your post count was already cumulative as when you change your username you pick up the post count and the the old one gets left where it is!

I was in the top 10 about 6 months ago and now I'm 34th! Suppose it proves how little I post compared to back in the good ol' days.

Not that I'm going to argue against the site owners (well, yes I am)however I remember (particularly in Xabia Shrimpers case) that when the name change occurred, there were two right next to each other in post count as it carried over to the new name.

For example, Hong Kong Blue has 4,426 posts as at his last post date in January 2007, he then became Yorkshire Blue and his post count is now 6,676. By your logic he must have posted 6,676 times since January last year, approximately 14 posts per day but his post count average is only 4 per day and Yorkshire Blue is shown as registering in October 2003. On that basis I don't believe Xabia has made 20,000 and nor has Vange made 12,000. Feel free to prove me wrong though!

Can you imagine that- 14 Yorkshire Blue posts a day. Jeez that would be hell.
 
I must admit that it is my mistake as I took on the job of joining past and current members and unfortunately, due to the massive work involved, over-looked the fact that in deleting the old accounts the original joining date goes too.
Very sorry but if someone else wants to spend absolute ages messing about combining another 200 member accounts they can have the ****ing job.
