Should be hopeful in my game, Kev & Toddy look pretty close and Nick's mob have obviously benefitted from the TIE's he's had recently! Wait to see how naff his bowlers are though....

Bartlett 105 (104 balls)
Last Wicket: Sugden c. Ottley b. Akram 53 (FOW: 112/2)

A close game between Kev and I, if my batsmen can stay in they should make the runs

Old Chelmsfordians v Whos your Daddy

End of Over 33: 183-3, runrate=5.55, reqrunrate=10.65 (363-3)
Wren 7-0-33-1
Wise* 85 (89 balls)
James 31 (31 balls)
Last Wicket: Greer c. Bracy b. Clunnie 11 (FOW: 127/3)

I think that that run rate might be a bit too much to chase, even with 17 overs left to go, a first win for Whos your Daddy in the SZ Cup is on the cards.

Woo hoo! My team fitness is finally getting back after the cup run and it seems to be helping.

It's going to be a hell of a finish at the imaginatively named 'General Stars CG'.

Need 21 off 4 overs

In the other match that was still going

And that's the end of the match. Whos your Daddy won by 93 runs.
Whos your Daddy 363-3
Old Chelmsfordians 270-10

Ah no, Bartlett's gone,

47.3 W Jackman to Bartlett
Jackman to Bartlett, Bowled him! That one hit the seam and moved a mile; Bartlett played all around it.

Squeaky bum time

47.6 W Jackman to Tierney
HOWZAT! Out! Tierney made a mess of that one and is gone to a wonderful ball

End of Over 48: 303-4, runrate=6.31, reqrunrate=6.50 (315-4)

Some last over, needed 7 to win, a dot ball, a wicket, a run, then 2 fours.

And that's the end of the match. Southend United won by 5 wickets.
General Stars 315-4
Southend United 318-5

I wasn't worried.... much

You spawny little sh!te! Set Thompson as attacking (to try and get Bartlett out early on) which obviously didn't work and it probably cost me the game in the end!

Still happy with my ratings and a very nice debut for Phillips who ended up not out and put on an excellent partnership with Mitchell!

That looks much better! With Rochford and Pearlstars to play I think I'll be ok now. That will mean I'll play 4th so more than likely another Kev v Toddy rematch in the other semi....
